ProLight & Sound Frankfurt 2010: LEWITT makes its first appearance in Europe

"Discovering new dimensions" - this year's slogan of Europe's leading international trade fair for the event-technology and entertainment sector, the Frankfurt ProLight & Sound, held true for LEWITT Audio as well. At its official European debut, the new high-end microphone company not only made heads turn but also invited trade visitors to literally raise their voices: In LEWITT's audio test station, music professionals were given the opportunity to discover the exceptionally nuanced sound of the new pro and semi-pro models, which have met with universal approval and praise.

"Our goal for 2010 is to establish LEWITT as the new premium microphone brand on the US and the traditionally highly competitive European market", explains LEWITT CEO Roman Perschon. Perschon sees the strong interest in the innovative start-up company and its products at the Frankfurt fair as a sign that this goal will be met. "The great feedback from customers and dealers shows that our microphones deliver excellent performance. In terms of quality and technology, we are looking forward to competing with well known high-end audio manufacturers".

Now that LEWITT has left a first great impression at the trade shows in Anaheim and Frankfurt, Perschon and his team will focus on bringing the company's products to all relevant markets and expand the distributor and retail network across Europe and the United States.

LEWITT Audio debuts at the NAMM Show

At the beginning of January 2010, the time for high-end microphone manufacturer LEWITT Audio to officially hit the international pro audio scene had finally come. At the world's largest music trade show, the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, the Vienna-based company presented its brand new microphone portfolio of pro and semi-pro mics to industry professionals and trade visitors. Music enthusiasts from around the globe were invited to get a first, exclusive look at LEWITT's four currently available product series for the recording studio and professional live sound markets.

LEWITT's state-of-the-art mics, and in particular the company's pro recording flagships of the LCT and DTP series, attracted a great deal of attention: The LCT 640 large-diaphragm condenser microphone as well as LEWITT's DTP 640 REX kick drum mic were both met with critical acclaim from music professionals and journalists.

"The overwhelmingly positive response to the launch of LEWITT in the United States vastly exceeded our expectations", comments LEWITT CEO Roman Perschon, who is confident that the NAMM debut has paved the way for the brand's successful premium positioning in the international market.
