Data Privacy Statement

1. General

1.1 The website „lewitt-audio.com“ is operated by LEWITT GmbH, Burggasse 79, 1070 Vienna, AUSTRIA (in short: “Lewitt Website”). 
1.2. It is very important to us that your personal data is safe and secured. Therefore, Lewitt  saves and processes data as defined by the Austrian Data Retention Law 2000. As a user you agree to the data processing in terms of this declaration.
1.3. The Lewitt Website will not automatically process personal data. That means: only your active input of (for example) your name or your address will send this data to Lewitt GmbH.
1.4. The Lewitt Website does not create personal user profiles.

2.  Stored Data

2.1. The Lewitt Website stores and processes the following personal data when you visit our website:
2.1.1 Serverlogs: The IPaddress of the requesting computer, with date, time, the request, which file was requested (filename and URL), the amount of data transferred to you, a notification, if your request was successful, the type of your browser and your OS, as well as the website from which the request is made (if your request started as a link). The serverlogs are stored in order to check the system integrity, to administrate and  optimize the website. The data will be transferred to the prosecution authorities if a hacking attack occurs. Any transfer to other parties shall not be carried out. The serverlogs will be stored up to one month.
2.1.2. Cookies: Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your computer by Lewitt Website in order to recognize it. The information stored in the cookies are used to  ascertain, if you are logged in, which data you already entered, or how the website is used by you. Most browsers accept cookies by default. By changing your browser settings, your browser will not store the cookies. You are able to clear the cookies anytime by deleting the temporary internet files.
2.2. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files that are stored  on your computer, to help the website analyse how visitors use the site. The information about your use of the website (including your IP address) generated by the cookie will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The Lewitt Website uses the IP anonymization, and therefore your IP address will be shortened by Google within the European Union or in other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In exceptional cases your full IPaddress will be sent to Google in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Google Analytics stores the following cookies: __ga (maximum storing time: 2 years), __gat (maximum storing time:10 minutes)
2.3 Lewitt Website uses the social media plugins (“plugins”) of facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). These plugins are deactivated (“greyed out”) until the user activates them. In this case Facebook will process data. The scope and purpose of this data acquisition is described by Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. Beyond that Lewitt Website will not automatically store and process personal data.

3. Right Of Refusal

The user of Lewitt Website has the right to contradict the storing of their personal data. In this case the user and their personal data will be deleted if there is no legal obligation to store the data.

4. Data Usage

The Lewitt Website is obliged to secure the data against unauthorized third party access according to the Austrian Data Retention Law 2000. The Lewitt Website stores and processes the data entered by the user within the mentioned scope. With the deletion of the user all personal data of the user will be deleted.
